This private estate home captures the pure essence of the east side of the Big Island. With it's magnificent view of it's own private waterfalls, you will immediately feel the true Hawaiian spirit in which this house was built. Ka Lani Wailele is located on 2 1/4 acres that it is at the end of a dead end street on the famed Reeds Island and is only 1 mile to historic downtown Hilo. The home is surrounded by state and conservation land ensuring complete and utter privacy.

The home is furnished with a minamalist theme in mind, careful not to have interior furnishings interfere with the beauty of the home and it's surroundings. Each of the 3 bedrooms is large with it's own bath. There is also an office with the latest Fax and Computer DSL hookups for those busy executives who need to stay in contact with their office while here. After a day of sightseeing, come home and relax in your soaking tubs which are located on the lower level of the home with breathtaking views of the Wailuku River.

As you enter the gate and drive up the drive way, you have no idea the unparalleled beauty that awaits. Enter the home, and you smell the wonderful aroma of the Port Orford cedar walls that were imported from Oregon. As you continue to walk down the large breezeway toward the main living and kitchen area, you are awestruck with the most beautiful waterfalls that you could ever see. And they're just for you! With the feeling of your own private getaway, it's hard to believe that Hilo is just down the hill.

The property and the house were designed so that you have incredible views of the waterfalls and the Wailuku River below from just about every room. Each piece of furniture was designed and built specifically for this home, careful not to interfere with the beauty of the grounds which can be seen from every part of the home.
